Stuttering Society has received its very first philanthropic donation, generously provided by Kaira Fund. Kaira is a philanthropic transition fund that supports system changers with strong ideas through coaching, network and donations.

I launched Stuttering Society in 2021 after almost two years working on developing the website. Since then, I’ve continued to dedicate my time and personal resources to building a unique community for people who stutter on the platform. As a person who stutters myself, I’ve experienced the challenges and obstacles of living with disfluency firsthand and wanted to do something that could help and empower our community.

This financial support is a crucial step forward and it will help us improve the website and make sure our members have even more resources and support available to them.

I can’t express how grateful I am to Hadiel, and all those involved in the funding decision process, for believing in our mission and supporting our community. We are deeply thankful for this milestone in Stuttering Society’s journey.
